James Fisher is a REALTOR® and Luxury Advisor with Windermere Professional Partners and the founder of J. Fisher & Associates. He serves buyers, sellers, and investors in Tacoma, Gig Harbor, University Place, and communities throughout Pierce and South King counties. Licensed since 2017, James brings experience across residential, luxury, and investment properties.

James serves as the 2026 Vice President of Government Affairs for Washington REALTORS® and is a past president of the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of REALTORS®. His leadership has included government affairs, RPAC, and strategic planning at the local and state levels.

James helped advance the passage of Washington’s SB 6091, testifying in support of legislation that restricts exclusive marketing through private listing networks and generally requires residential properties to be marketed to the public and all other brokers. His work on the bill reflects his commitment to transparency, fair competition, and equal access to housing opportunities.

His broader advocacy includes supporting measures aimed at keeping the cost of purchasing and owning a home manageable, expanding homeownership opportunities, and maintaining a fair and balanced tax environment in Washington. He also helped secure REALTOR® grant funding for the Home in Tacoma advocacy campaign, supporting efforts to expand housing choices in the city.

James’s professional recognition includes Tacoma-Pierce County’s Rookie of the Year award in 2018, REALTOR® of the Year in 2020, and Special Achievement award in 2023.
